Hawkes Bay, New Zealand
An exciting project in collaboration with award-winning winemaker, Rod McDonald. Three Crows is made using fruit sourced from the Bridge Pa wine growing district in Hawke’s Bay. The vineyard is organic, dry farmed and located approximately 16 km from the Pacific Ocean on the east coast of the North Island of New Zealand. Syrah is a late ripening variety here and we love the Bridge Pa soils and climate, as it creates a long growing season and hang time for the fruit. We pick late in the season with moderate sugar, but fully developed tannin, flavour and aromatics.
